Control Logix

The ControlLogix system provides discrete, drives, motion, process, and safety control together with communications and state-of-the-art I/O in a small, cost-competitive package. The system is modular, so you can design, build, and modify it efficiently - with significant savings in training and engineering.

   

Flex Logix

A FlexLogix system provides a multi-purpose programmable controller. You can distribute I/O to locations close to sensors/actuators. Connect multiple FlexLogix controllers in networks for distributed processing.

Because it has a Logix control engine, a FlexLogix controller supports the Logix instruction set, tasking model, and data model. A FlexLogix controller and other Logix controllers have a common approach to programming and configuring I/O with RSLogix 5000 programming software. The 1794 I/O products offer a range of digital and analog I/O (including intelligent I/O) in a rugged modular assembly.

 

Compact Logix

CompactLogix is designed to provide a Logix solution for medium applications. Typically, these applications are machine-level control applications with I/O requirements, network connectivity, and motion control requirements. A simple system can consist of a standalone controller with a single bank of I/O modules and DeviceNet communication. In a more complex system, add other networks and motion control. Multiple controllers can communicate across networks and share data.

 

SLC-500 System

The SLC 500 family provides a proven approach for industrial control. SLC 500 processors are available in a wide range of functional designs, and can be connected in a variety of networks for distributed processing and distributed I/O. The 1746 I/O products offer a full range of digital and analog I/O (including intelligent I/O) in a rugged modular assembly.

 

PLC-5 System

PLC-5 processors are high-speed, single-slot processors used for control and information processing. They are designed for larger sequential and regulatory control applications with specialized I/O requirements and/or the need to coordinate with other processors and devices.
PLC-5 processors are available in a range of I/O capacity and memory size, and can be connected in a variety of networks for distributed processing and distributed I/O.

 

MicroLogix

1000 The MicroLogix 1000 family provides small, economical programmable controllers. They are available in configurations of 10 digital I/O (6 inputs and 4 outputs), 16 digital I/O (10 inputs and 6 outputs), 25 I/O (12 digital inputs, 4 analog inputs, 8 digital outputs, and 1 analog output), or 32 digital I/O (20 inputs and 12 outputs) in multiple electrical configurations of digital I/O.

 

MicroLogix 1100

With online editing and a built-in 10/100 Mbps EtherNet/IP port for peer-to-peer messaging the MicroLogix 1100 controller adds greater connectivity and application coverage to the MicroLogix family of Allen-Bradley controllers. There are 10 digital inputs, 6 digital outputs, and 2 analog inputs on every controller, with the ability to add digital, analog, RTD, and thermocouple modules to customize the controller for your application. On versions of the controller with dc inputs, there is a high-speed counter, and on the dc output version, two PTO/PWM (pulse train outputs and pulse width modulated) outputs, enabling the controller to support simple motion applications.

   

MicroLogix 1200

The MicroLogix 1200 system provides functionality between the MicroLogix 1000 and MicroLogix 1500 systems, using the proven MicroLogix and SLC family architecture. The 6K-word memory provides for a maximum program of 4K words and maximum data of 2K words with 100% data retention. An optional memory module provides program and data backup with program upload and download capability. The optional real-time clock enables time scheduling of control activities. The flash upgradeable operating system lets you upgrade system software without replacing hardware.

   

MicroLogix 1500

A basic MicroLogix 1500 system consists of a base unit that provides 24 or 28 built-in basic I/O, a built-in ac or dc power supply, and a processor module that slides into the base unit. You can supplement the I/O built into the base unit with up to sixteen digital and/or analog input and output 1769 Compact™ I/O modules (depending on current draw and power dissipation). Add an optional memory and/or real-time clock module or an optional Data Access Tool to enhance system capability.

 
   

Pico™ Controller

The Pico™ family of nano-PLCs is Allen Bradley’s smallest, most economical controller offering, performing simple logic, timing, counting, and real-time clock operations. Splitting the difference between a timing relay and a low-end PLC, Pico is ideal for relay replacement applications, simple control applications such as building and parking lot lighting, and applications in which cost is a primary design issue.
